Anyway, as royally as that all suck, enjoy your year of GEs. As soon as you start Design, your life will be over. Lower division Design courses are hellish just to deter people who aren’t serious about it. If your experience is anything like my roommate’s, you won’t sleep next year. ever.

And have you taken any Art Studio? I hear Design majors are expected to do that.

In regards to the school situation – do you have advisors? If you do, talk to him/her, if you don’t (as I suspect, based on my knowledge of Berkeley’s non-existent advisors), that sucks royally and was one of the reasons I didn’t want to go a UC.
